A teenager is in a serious condition after being hit by a car in Enfield last night.

An 18-year-old was treated for head injuries after being hit by a car in Windmill Hill, Enfield, at approximately 7.40pm yesterday.

The incident took place outside Enfield Chase train station and resulted in the road being closed for nearly three hours whilst the woman was being treated.

She was taken by ambulance to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel where she remains in a serious condition.

I have every sympathy for this Young Lady, Who I am sure would have been taken Straight to Chase Farm Hospital if it had had its A&E open instead of White Chapel.
