A four-year-old girl has died after a flat fire last night.
More than 20 firefighters were called to Solomon Avenue, Upper Edmonton, to reports of a fire in a ground floor flat shortly after 5.15pm.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus rescued the girl from the flat but she was pronounced dead by London Ambulance Service.
A woman was also rescued from the flat and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Firefighters, Edmonton, Hornsey, Finchley and Tottenham fire stations tackled the blaze and had brought it under control by 6.12pm.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by London Fire Brigade and the police.
