An Enfield shopkeeper has won the endorsement of one of television's famous - and feared - Dragons.
Business mogul and former BBC Two Dragon's Den panellist Theo Paphitis recognised Mary Tryphona's shop Gold Boutique, in Enfield Town as a one of the best small businesses of the year as part of Small Business Sunday.
The Enfield Town shop has been in business for over a year, selling fashion accessories, belts and jewellery
Ms Tryphona, of Cockfosters said: "It has been tough within the current economic climate. It’s great to have support from Theo because it’s tough trying to raise awareness and our profile.
“Theo has recognised our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his following. It was a great pleasure to meet the famous shopkeeper and he gave us great information and we as a small business now have a good network of support.”
The business woman established her business in November 2012 and met Mr Paphitis on November 28, 2013, for her award.
