A college student who secured a job at a top advertising company said it was all thanks to her education.

Tenica Achord-Green got a job at the RadioWorks, London’s biggest radio advertising specialists, after finishing her course at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London.

The former accounting student is now an accounts assistant at the company.

She said: “The course was a perfect balance of theory and practical work. All the work done in class closely matched the exam, but the practical experience was really useful.”

“I feel good about what I achieved at College and the work experience was invaluable – it really helped me.”

Ms Achord-Green said she enjoys her job at and is settling-in nicely to her new team.
