DEAN COX was praised by ex-Orient hitman Scott McGleish for his devastating delivery, after the winger was last weekend voted the club's best player by team-mates.
Strikers feasted on the crosses supplied last season by Cox, who finished second top of the League One assists chart.
Scott McGleish bagged 18 goals for himself, from a variety of situations.
"I cannot score goals on my own, I’m not Messi," said the 37 year-old this week. "I won’t take it past six players and bang it in.
“I need crosses to get onto, so I rely on the service I get.
“That’s why Dean Cox is a very good winger. I know what he is going to do. He breaks in and crosses it, which is exactly what you want.”
