This photo of a honeysuckle growing wild around an oak tree is this week’s photo of the week.
Janet Gordon, of Windmill Gardens, Enfield, took this shot in Ferny Hill, Enfield.
She said: “The perfume is glorious and a nice treat on the chilly mornings of late.”
Photographer Peter Beal, who picked the photo as the winner, said: “It has an alien feel to it – like tentacles reaching out to communicate with the observer.
“I’d like to see more work from this photographer.”
For your chance to win photo of the week next week, e-mail your photo to aslater@london.newsquest.co.uk. You must live in the boroughs of Enfield, Haringey, Harrow, Borehamwood or Barnet and the photo must be taken in one of the above areas.
