Edgar Davids has been assigned the number 38 shirt at Barnet and the Dutch international looks set to feature for the Bees against Northampton Town this evening.
The former Juventus midfielder joined Barnet last week as joint head coach alongside Mark Robson but made it clear he would like to return to first team action.
Should Davids play in tonight’s game against the Cobblers, it will be his first professional match since October 30 2010 when he was part of the Crystal Palace side which suffered a 3-0 defeat against Swansea.
