Spurs appear to be on the brink of completing their deadline day move for Louis Saha - with David Moyes confirming the striker has been given permission to discuss terms.
Manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly said he “thinks it [the deal] is all sorted” with Everton and said of the French striker: “He is sharp and he has got good movement”.
There was considerable surprise when it was revealed this morning that Tottenham were interested in the former Manchester United striker, but reports throughout the day have suggested Saha could sign an 18-month contract at White Hart Lane.
The Everton boss subsequently confirmed that the forward has been given permission to discuss personal terms.
