Saracens have completed the signing of promising scrum half Ben Spencer.
The former Cambridge back impressed during pre-season for the Men in Black and has earned himself a contract.
He is likely to be involved in the first team squad with Richard Wigglesworth away in New Zealand with England's World Cup squad.
Spencer said: "I was looking forward to another season at Cambridge, and it’s completely beyond my expectations to be signing for the champions.
"There is a real determination around the club to work unbelievably hard, and retain the Premiership title, and I’m determined to play my part."
