Palmers Green karate ace Jemma Mitcham continued her successful year by becoming junior kata world champion at the beginning of August.
Jemma, 15, was among 1,400 competitors from 59 countries who travelled to Paris for the seventh Japan Karate Association Shoto World Cup.
She followed up her achievement of winning national titles for kata (set forms) and kumite (free fighting) with another impressive performance which cemented her place in the British squad.
Jemma claimed another medal when she stepped in as a last-minute replacement for the senior ladies team kata after their captain was injured.
Jemma has trained with Mick Strachan at the Palmers Green Hoku Shin Dojo since she was six.
