Enfield Town's magnificent season was praised by the Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Graham Eustace, last week when he held a civic reception in honour of the football club.
Mr Eustace thanked everyone connected with the club for restoring the pride the borough holds in its football team and said he was excited about the developments at the club, both on and off the pitch.
Enfield capped a marvellous season by winning both the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy and the Foresters Essex Senior League title. The club were denied promotion to the Ryman League due to their Goldsdown Road ground not being up to the required standard.
