New Salamis came out on top in the local derby, thrashing Enfield Borough 6-0 in Division One of the Spartan South Midlands League.
Deniz Mehmet got Salamis on their way with two early goals before Irnti Rapai and George Lutaaya effectively finished the game by making it 4-0 before the break.
Lutaaya went on to add two goals to his tally in the second half to complete his hat-trick, while a clean sheet was kept at the other end as Borough failed to create any clear-cut chances.
The win closes the gap between Salamis and St Panteleimon to six points, although the leaders still have a game in hand.
Borough, meanwhile, are 12th, level on points with Bedford.
Next up for Salamis is the visit of Park View this Saturday, while Borough host Amersham Town.
