New Salamis stayed second in Division One of the Spartan South Midlands League after a 1-1 draw against leaders St Panteleimon.
A draw means Salamis stay nine points adrift of top spot and they stay ahead of third-placed Winslow United.
Panteleimon went into the break a goal ahead when Roberto Katsikas’ free-kick was caught by the wind and flew into the top corner.
Irnti Rapai and Denis Mehmet both came close to levelling proceedings in the second half, but it was instead left to Andy Loizou to equalise in the final minute when he headed home.
Next up for Salamis is the visit of Enfield Borough tonight, kicking off at 7.45pm.
