Enfield Ignatians extended their unbeaten run to 12 games in London 3 North West after a 27-5 win over fifth-placed Finsbury Park.
Tries from Lewis White, Dave Gear, Jack O’Toole and Jonathan Hamilton were added to by a Jake Bates penalty to secure a comfortable win for the Blue & Golds.
Ignatians put in an excellent defensive display against the wind in the first half an went ahead when White went over from a maul.
The hosts weren’t able to capitalise on Finsbury’s errors until late in the second half when Bates notched a penalty and Gear’s try put them in command.
O’Toole then added another try with an arcing run around the Finsbury defence to make the game safe before Park bounced back with a five-point score of their own.
Hamilton, though, wrapped things up after picking up at the base of a scrum and racing over from 20 metres.
Next up for Ignatians is the visit of struggling Harrow on Saturday, February 15.
