Tottenham are on alert as former target Willian has reportedly put up for sale by current club Anzhi Makhachkala.

Russian side Anzhi signed the forward for £30m last January with Spurs unable to compete with their financial superiority.

However, following a run of poor results in the Russian Premier League owner Suleyman Kerimov has put a number of the team's stars up for sale.

It could leave the door open for Spurs to swoop in and sign the talented Brazilian for a price they were previously willing to pay, though to be around £20m.
