I think we have a crazy system on the buses now where you aren’t able to pay in cash.
I was on the bus the other day when a schoolgirl got on who had forgotten her ticket. The bus driver said she had to get off. I offered to pay for her ticket and wasn’t allowed. Then an elderly gentleman got on and he had forgotten his bus pass. It was obvious that he would have a bus pass because of his age.
Surely a facility could be provided on the buses for people who need to pay in cash if they have forgotten their tickets.
