Singer Adele was seen scolding an audience member at one of her recent shows on June 1 in Las Vegas.

The incident took place at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace where the ‘Someone Like You’ singer is currently performing her ‘Weekends with Adele’ residency.

The show sees the artist perform some of her biggest hits from ‘Hello’ to ‘Rolling in the Deep’ as well as some crowd engagement including chats with guests and walks around the seats.

However, the recent show took a turn when Adele heard an audience member shout “Pride sucks”.

Hearing the statement from within the crowd, Adele was quick to respond, saying: “Did you come to my f****g show and just say that Pride sucks?

“Are you f****g stupid? Don’t be so f****g ridiculous.

“If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, alright?”

June marks the start of Pride Month which honours the LGBTQ+ community and dates to the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City.

Adele has often shown her support and allyship towards the LGBTQ+ community, back in 2016 the singer showed support for Pride following the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida that saw 49 people killed and 53 people wounded.

At the time the Grammy artists said onstage: “I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night… The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soul mates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it.”

Following Adele’s reaction to the statement at her Las Vegas show, many fans got behind the singer and supported her.
