A young football coach from Enfield has been given the opportunity to coach a training session at the Liverpool FC Academy.
Max Mitchell was one of 32 young people to be chosen by Olympic sponsor, Adidas, to get a once in a lifetime experience.
The sports clothing company chose a talented youngster from each of London’s boroughs and teamed up with a range of celebrities to give them a special day out.
Mr Mitchell said: “I work with autistic children teaching them football skills and life skills. That in itself is extremely rewarding for me but this opportunity that Adidas has presented me with is completely out of this world!
“I helped out with coaching some of the youngsters and even got to meet the Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard. It was an amazing experience and one I’ll never forget.”
