ModelSearch 2000: Another chance to break into the modelling world

CALLING all wannabe models: there is still a chance to book your place on the catwalk at ModelSearch 2000.

The prestigious model competition, organised by Wood Green Shopping City and the Haringey Independent, takes place at Shopping City throughout this month.

And now there is a new incentive for youngsters to take part.

The winners of the categories for ages four to six, seven to ten, and 11 to 15 will all be offered a one-year contract with the Truly Scrumptious Child Model Agency.

And their photos will appear in the Truly Scrumptious 2001 Model Book.

The north London-based model agency already has about 350 youngsters on its books, and they make frequent appearances in pop videos and TV commercials.

The first heats of ModelSearch 2000, for boys and girls aged four to six and 11 to 15, take place this Sunday.

And due to demand more space is being made available for young models who think they can make it big on the catwalk.

Entrants can now register on the day of the heats ? but spaces will be limited, so it's a case of first come, first served.

Registration for boys and girls aged four to six takes place from 10.15am, and the heat proper starts at 11am.

At 12.45pm registration starts for youngsters aged 11 to 15, and boys and girls of this age group will step up to the catwalk at 1.30pm.

Those wishing to take part should register at the information kiosk in City Square, in the shopping centre in Wood Green High Road where the heats will take place.

The heats for the remaining categories ? ages seven to ten, adults and larger sizes take place next Sunday, May 14.

Again get there by 10.15am if you want to register.

The grand final for all categories takes place on Sunday, May 21.

Good luck!

Hey, good-lookinÍ!
