A free service to help protect bicycles from being lost or stolen is on offer in Enfield on Saturday.

Officers from Enfield Police safer transport team will use a special ink to mark bikes with a unique serial number to help identify them.

Each bicycle marked will also be registered on a database, and owners will be given a logbook complete with a sticker to show that their bike is part of the scheme.

The event will take place outside Halfords in Enfield Retail Park between 11am and 3pm.
