POLICE are hunting for an attacker who stabbed a man in the leg in Hornsey.
The 29-year-old victim was given first aid by members of the public after being stabbed in Elder Avenue yesterday afternoon.
Detectives investigating said a man “of Mediterranean appearance” who was wearing a red puffa jacket carried out the attack at around 1.30pm near the junction with Middle Lane.
The injured man was taken to the Whittington Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Police said the suspect had been seen loitering near Banger Brothers at the junction of Tottenham Lane and Elder Avenue before the attack, and urged witnesses to come forward.
