POLICE have brought rioters in Enfield Town under control, as arrests appear to be made.
A huge riot police presence in the town centre – around Enfield Town Station and Church Street were earlier looting took place – looks to have brought relative calm to the area.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that some of the rioters have fled along Southbury Road to the retail park at the junction with Great Cambridge Road.
Police helicopters have moved away from Enfield Town and appear to be heading towards the retail park.
Journalist Billy Kenber posted a picture on Twitter showing what he said was a group of 25 youngsters being led away by police.
