THE soul sound of the Seventies is heading to the Bernie Grant Arts Centre this Saturday as part of a fundraiser for its enterprise centre.
Arts centre bosses plan to transform the community hub, in Town Hall Approach Road, Tottenham, into a retro nightclub complete with mirror ball and disco lights.
It is part of a drive to raise funds for the Bernie Grant Enterprise Centre, which houses and supports small businesses by offering support and subsidised rents.
DJs from north London's SLR Radio Collective will play the best of Motown, R&B and reggae with a special set from activist Lee Jasper, formerly an adviser to Ken Livingstone.
The event, dubbed Black Vinyl Disco Heaven, takes place at 8pm on Saturday, March 5.
