UP to 10 youths chased a man from a Tottenham park before stabbing him in the leg on Wednesday.
Officers were called at 1.30pm to Bruce Castle Park and found the 20-year-old victim suffering stab wounds in his leg and cuts to his face outside the park in Church Road.
He was taken to hospital and is now in a stable condition.
Detectives from Haringey CID are investigating, and keeping an open mind about the motive, a police spokesman said.
No arrests have been made.
