Chase Farm Hospital heroes honoured in double bash next month

Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals will honour their oustanding staff at a glitzy ceremony at Forty Hall on September 14.

This is the first year that the Simply the Best Awards, which recognise outstanding patient care, are celebrated with the Outstanding Staff Celebration and Rewards (Oscars).

The latter is to reward staff for work across the board, including good practice and money saving, and includes categories such as dignity in death and unsung heroes.

Both ceremonies will be celebrated together immediately after the Trust’s AGM.

Nominations come from both patients and colleagues and have included both junior and senior medical staff, clerical workers, canteen staff and gardeners.
