AN ENFIELD Lock man appeared in court charged with raping a woman in Cheshunt Park last Thursday.
Reid Collins, 20, of Ramney Drive, Enfield, is alleged to have raped a 17-year-old girl between 5am and 5.30am.
Collins has been charged with rape and actual bodily harm and appeared before Hatfield Remand Court yesterday.
He was remanded in custody to appear at St Albans Crown Court on June 1.
Investigating detective Sergeant Claire Hill said: “I would urge anyone who may have been in the park around this time and saw anything suspicious or knows anything about the incident to please get in touch.”
