EAGER ramblers are invited to take part in a walk through some of Enfield's most beautiful countryside tomorrow morning.
The three-hour stroll kicks off at 10.30am at the entrance to the Jacobean mansion, in Forty Hill.
It was organised by Enfield Council parks outreach team in partnership with walking charity the Ramblers to mark Get Walking Day.
Now in its third year, Get Walking Day is the Ramblers' flagship national walking event, which aims "to help people discover the joy of walking".
Beginning at Forty Hall, walkers will amble through the mansion grounds before moving to the remains of Elsyng Palace and Whitewebbs Park, stopping at the infamous King and Tinker pub for a drink.
Alan Mitellas, parks outreach officer, said: “Sunday’s walk asks people, especially those who would not normally consider going on organised walks, to come out with us and have a look at the beautiful parks and open spaces that Enfield has to offer.
"Come along, enjoy the scenery and make some new friends.”
