Elected: Michael Lavender will lead the Conservative group
THE Conservative group has elected its new leader and deputy.
Cockfosters councillor Michael Lavender will head the party and Southgate Green councillor Henry Lamprecht will be his second-in-command.
The shadow cabinet will be decided after the Labour administration confirm the posts in the next few days.
