A PROJECT which places helpers with families to provide practical and emotional support is seeking volunteers.
Home-Start Enfield, jointly funded by Enfield Council and Enfield and Haringey Health Authority, is running a course to train people to become surrogate relatives.
Volunteers would be expected to spend a few hours a week with an appointed family to provide help in a variety of ways.
The training course begins on Thursday, May 14, and runs every Thursday for eight weeks. For more information call 366 9338.
