TRIBUTES have been paid to an Enfield teenager stabbed to death in Stamford Hill yesterday morning.

Godwin Nii Lawson, 17, also known as Big Rev, was in Amhurst Park with two friends when he was attacked by at least four men at around 1.50am.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene but were unable to save the rapper and aspiring footballer.

His friends were also stabbed and were rushed to hospital but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Two groups on social networking website Facebook have been set up in his memory, with a total of more than 1,200 members.

Derek Benson posted: “I've been hearing your voice all day bruddah talking through the mic at studio.

“Seeing this page with your picture on it is toooo real, you shouldn't be gone, there is so much more of life and the world to see than the roads we live on.

“I'm gutted for you, and your family.”

Keeysha-Jo Lawson posted: “R.i.p brudah.”

Chad Moses posted: “Always been the Bigman, from kicking ball to bussin jokes all the memories will not be forgotten Rv. Just like you said 'nothing lasts forever' sad but true. Fly high Godwin.

“We're all praying for you.”

Godwin went to St Ignatius College, in Turkey Street, Enfield, and has a Myspace page under the name Revenge 24, where he says he has released a mixtape called Revenge is Sweet.

He is a member of a Facebook group called “Stop this postcode rivalry nonsense”.

Detective Chief Inspector John Macdonald, from the Met's murder squad, said: “The area would still have been quite busy at the time of the attack, so we need to speak to anyone who saw what happened.”

No arrests have been made.
