THE first case of swine flu in Enfield has been confirmed.
One pupil of Wilbury School, in Wilbury Way, Edmonton, has caught the H1N1 virus, with several other pupils suspected.
It is understood other schools are also affected, according to Enfield Council.
The NHS website says the Health Protection Agency will assess any school with a suspected case of swine flu to decide whether it needs to close.
Anyone worried about the virus is encouraged to call the swine flu information line on 0800 1513 513.
