A grim week in north London saw three people lose their lives in just four days.

There were two reported fatal stabbings in Finchley and Harrow on Monday and Wednesday, followed by the death of a man from head injuries in Harlesden late yesterday (Thursday).

This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on. Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

18-year-old boy stabbed to death near supermarket

Yusuf Mohamoud has been named as the victim of a fatal stabbing in Regents Park Road, Finchley, on Monday (August 7).

He was found near the Sainsbury’s supermarket at around 9.45pm, despite the efforts of emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday (August 9) after attending a north London police station. He currently remains in custody.

Police were called to Wellesley Road, Harrow, on Wednesday (August 9) at 7.13pm, as two men were found with stab wounds.

One man died at the scene and another was treated by paramedics before being taken to a hospital. In the Metropolitan Police’s latest update, his condition remains unknown.

A third man was also found nearby with stab injuries. He too was rushed to the hospital, but his injuries are said to be not life-threatening.

A murder probe launched last night (August 10)  at 11.45pm after police were called to Casselden Road, Church End & Roundwood, to concerns for the welfare of a man at a residential property.

After forcing entry, they found a 40-year-old man with head injures. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is being treated as suspicious, but there have been no arrests at this stage.
