A 16-year-old boy is in hospital after suffering a slash injury to his neck at a youth centre.

Police were called to South Street in Ponders End shortly after 2.30pm yesterday afternoon (July 27).

A 16-year-old boy was found at the youth centre with a slash wound to his neck.

He was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where his condition was assessed as not life-changing or life-threatening.

No arrests have been made but police continue to investigate the incident.
