A football hooligan who brawled in a Putney beer garden on a Saturday afternoon has been jailed.
Nic Krunic, 58, was involved in fighting between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur fans at the Coat and Badge on February 22, 2020.
On Friday, 25 February, Krunic, from Broadstairs, Kent, was sentenced to 24 months’ imprisonment at Kingston Crown Court for violent disorder.
He was also given a seven-year Football Banning Order after pleading guilty in October 2021.
Detective Constable Phil Dickinson, from the Met’s Public Order Unit, said: “Football violence, whether in the stadium or not, will be investigated.
"Anyone who participates in this type of behaviour – which reflects badly on the club and its fans – will be brought to justice.
“Not only is Krunic facing two years’ imprisonment but upon his release, he will be unable to watch the team he claims to support.”
