A woman will only have to pay £22 after assaulting a police officer in Haringey.
Shomarai Davis assaulted the officer by beating him on November 18, Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court heard.
The court was told the incident occurred whilst the officer was “acting in the exercise of his functions”.
Davis, 37, of Stanmore Road, Haringey, pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker on November 19.
She was ordered to pay £22 to fund victim services and was discharged conditionally for 12 months.
