- -The M25 was closed for several hours in Hertfordshire due to a serious collision and spillage.
- -The carriageway was shut anticlockwise between motorway junction 23 (A1) and 22 (London Colney).
- -Emergency services were called to the scene and a van driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
- -Three vehicles were involved but one was not at the scene when police arrived.
- -The closure lasted until the early afternoon, causing major delays on the M25 back to Enfield of more than 90 minutes.
- -Roads in and around London Colney and Potters Bar were also severely affected.
- -There are still some delays on the M25.
