A high performance Audi that was stolen from a home in Hertfordshire was found in Enfield.

The Audi RS4 was among a large amount of jewellery stolen from a property in Hatfield on Tuesday, October 19.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says thieves raided the home in Warrengate Road between 2pm and 7.45pm.

A black Audi RS4 was stolen from the driveway and later recovered in Enfield, police said.

Jewellery including a Bremont watch, a Traser watch, a Breitling watch, an engagement ring, a wedding ring, an opal necklace and a pair of diamond earrings were also stolen.

The suspects also stole several other items, including a blue North Face hold-all bag and a black Wandrd backpack, a dark green Schoffel jacket, a grey Canada Goose jacket, a dark green North Face jacket, and a brown Barbour jacket.

In total, the stolen items are estimated to be worth approximately £70,000.

Detective Constable Kate Langley, who is investigating, said: “Whilst the stolen items are clearly of high monetary value, the sentimental value to the victim is even higher. We would like nothing more than to reunite them with their belongings. Perhaps you have seen the items listed for sale locally? If you think you have any information, please get in touch.

“Alternatively, if you believe that you may have witnessed the burglary taking place, or seen anyone behaving suspiciously in the area around the time specified, please get in contact with me. Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor, could be key to progressing our investigation.”
