Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is wary of Watford's pace in attack and is expecting the Hornets to ask questions of his defenders this weekend.

The two sides will meet on Saturday for the first time since 2016 when they were drawn together in the FA Cup, with Watford coming out on top that day.

In fact, in the last five matches between the two sides, the best Leeds have managed is a draw, with the Hornets winning the last four games.

The Argentine boss is expecting the experience in Xisco Munoz's side to make the game a difficult one.

"They are a solid team," said Bielsa.

"They are combative with players of experience that fundamentally complicate the development of the play of the opponent and they have forwards who are quick, who can surprise you.

"They give a good compliment to the defensive aspect by asking in behind.”

At the other end of the field Bielsa has further problems, with Patrick Bamford confirmed as one of several Leeds players set to miss out.

However, Munoz knows there is still plenty of firepower in the Leeds attack.

"They have Rodrigo, Raphina and others," said the Hornets boss.

"We know what we have in front of us, the different options they have in offence and we worked very well this week for our plan of the game. I'm very happy with our players because they want to learn.

"I know we aren't perfect, but it's our challenge to try to improve in the games."
