Detectives are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a pedestrian died following a collision.

The crash happened last month on July 18 shortly before 1am in Watermead Way near Tottenham.

The emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving one car and a person.

Paramedics and police attended and a 33-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he later died.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

The car involved stopped at the scene.

Police say a 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drink/drug driving and causing death by dangerous driving. She was subsequently released under investigation.

Enquiries continue with detectives from the Metropolitan Police's serious collision investigation unit investigating.
