PUBS, restaurants and other hospitality venues are able to reopen from today.

However, life can’t fully return to normality and there are certain rules that venues have to follow.

Customers aren’t actually allowed inside the pub and must be served outside.

While this would be ideal for those living in a Mediterranean country, the Great British weather is much less dependable.

One minute we are basking in the sun and the next it is snowing in April.

If you have booked an outdoor table (or plan to) in Lancashire this week, it’s possible that you might be caught out by the tumultuous weather.

While some venues might provide outdoor heating and gazebos, others have crossed their fingers and wished for good weather.

Using weather data from the Met Office, we have summarised the weekly predictions in Lancashire so you can decide if a trip to a beer garden or outdoor dining is worth the risk:

Monday 12 April

It’s the first day of eased lockdown restrictions- and many people will be hoping to make the most of it.

Luckily, it’s set to remain mainly sunny all day with less than a five per cent chance of rain.

However, make sure to wrap up warm as the county is only expecting highs of 8°.

Tuesday 13 April

Today’s weather isn’t quite as glorious as yesterday’s.

After a bright start, it will get cloudy with increased risk of scattered showers across the North West.

In Blackburn, there is a 30 per cent chance or rain at 3pm.

However, it will feel milder than Monday with highs of 10°.

Wednesday 14 April

It’s a mixed bag today with sunny spells, cloud expected and a chance of scattered showers in the morning and afternoon.

There is a 10 per cent chance of rain in the afternoon and temperature highs of 11°.

Thursday 15 April

Today looks set to be mainly dry with highs of 11°.

However, it's predicted to be chilly- while it may be 11°, forecasters predict it could feel 1-3° cooler than this.

There is a 10 per cent chance of rain at 4pm.

Friday 16 April

If you are heading out for drinks on Friday night it doesn’t look like you will need a brolly.

There’s a 10 per cent chance of rain at 4pm but the rest of the day looks set to be dry- albeit cloudy.

There are highs of 11° but the chilly breeze will make it feel like a degree or two lower.

Saturday 17 April

With the working week behind us, many people will be eager to get to the pubs and restaurants this day- but how is the weather looking in Lancashire?

All day, there is less than a five per cent chance of rain.

It’s also one of the warmest days of the week with highs of 12°.

It’s expected to be bright and sunny between 7am and 4pm- but the clouds look set to descend in the afternoon and evening.

Arguably, this is one of the best days of the week for good weather.

Sunday 18 April

There is a 10 per cent chance of rain between 1pm and 4pm- so bring a brolly just in case.

For the rest of the day, you can expect clouds and sunny spells.

While there are highs of 12°, forecasters expect it to feel 1-2° lower than this.
