A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder by detectives investigating a stabbing.
A 17-year-old was taken into police custody on Monday (March 8) in connection with an incident earlier in the day in Tottenham.
Police were called shortly before 2pm to Penhurst Road following reports of a stabbing.
Three teenagers were found injured, including two with stab wounds.
Paramedics and officers attended the scene but confirmed a 19-year-old died in Penhurst Road from his injuries.
Detectives have informed next of kin and they are being supported by specialist officers. Police await formal identification, and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
An 18-year-old was taken to hospital but his condition has not been deemed life threatening.
A third teenager, also 18, was treated for minor injuries.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
