A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing.
A 28-year-old man was found with knife wounds in Green Lane, Goodmayes, yesterday afternoon.
The Met Police and London Ambulance Service received a call at 1.25pm on Wednesday.
The man with stab wounds was taken to a hospital in east London but police say his condition is not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police have been investigating the stabbing and a crime scene has been in place.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
