A bus stop roof has been "decapitated" after a bus hit the shelter.
An Uno bus collided into a bus stop after 2.30pm yesterday (July 26) in St Peters Street in the city centre.
Officers were called and taped off the area as a safety precaution and incident was left in the hands of the bus company.
Police said no one was injured.

David Mawson, 44, from Twickenham who was visiting St Albans with his friend says he witnessed the incident from the other side of the road.
David said before the incident he saw around four people near to the bus shelter.
He said: "I witnessed what could've been a very serious incident. A bus clipped the bus shelter and completely decapitated the roof.

"It was unbelievable and unreal, I spoke to the driver and he said the bus clipped the corner of the shelter.
"I was really quite shocked because it's not a small bus stop."
