Police have launched an investigation after a man was shot dead in Haringey.

Officers were called at around 8.22pm yesterday (March 18) to reports of shooting in Wiltshire Gardens.

They found a man, believed to be in his 20s, suffering gunshot injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination and formal identification will be arranged in due course.

Officers said enquiries are underway to trace and inform the man's next of kin. No arrests have been made.
