A second man has been charged with murder following a fatal shooting in Enfield.
Abdullahi Mahmoud, 29, was shot dead in Hertford Road on Thursday, March 19.
Yesterday (May 12), Police charged 19-year-old Khalid Hogan with murder.
Hogan, of Manor Park Road, Enfield, was also charged with perverting the course of justice.
He appeared yesterday at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow (Thursday, May 14).
Hogan is the third man to be charged in connection with the investigation.
Dorian Steele, 18, of St John's Terrace, Enfieldl, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 24 also charged with the murder.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday, May 14.
Alex Weekes, 19, of St Johns Terrace, Enfield appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 27 charged with perverting the course of justice. He was remanded in custody.
Three further men – a 21-year-old, a 19-year-old and a 22-year-old – are currently on police bail until various dates in June having been arrested on suspicion of murder.
