'Pokémon, picnics and sunbathing' were among the excuses given to police for being outside despite the coronavirus lockdown.
In a post on Facebook, Thames Valley Police said the Abingdon neighbourhood team had been patrolling the surrounding areas including North Hinksey, Wootton, Boars Hill and Botley today.

It said two PCSOs attended a report of a group of men using the outdoor exercise equipment at Arnold's Way Park, Cumnor, adding: "The group left the area when asked to do so."
It added: "Unfortunately we are still coming across people who are out for non-essential reasons- today's excuses have included Pokémon, picnics and sunbathing!"
The post also said PCSOs helped a woman having a mental health episode today.
