Police have re-issued pictures of three people they would like to speak to after a fatal shooting last summer.

These images have been released again since they were initially sent in September 2019 as police continue investigating the death of Grineo Daka, 27, who was fatally shot in Lea Bridge Road, Leyton on July 7.

Police were called to the Phoenix Club shortly before 3am that day to reports of gunshots.

Officers, including firearm officers, attended and found Mr Daka, of Stratford, suffering gunshot injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Wrigley, who leads the investigation, said: “While this investigation has made significant progress and one person is awaiting trial for the murder, I am still keen to speak to the three people shown in these images.

“I believe they could hold significant information in relation to Grineo’s murder.

“If you are one of the people in these images, or if you recognise them, please come forward and speak to my team.”

He added: “We understand that Grineo and two other men had gone to the snooker club.

“The victim was then involved in an altercation with another group and a number of shuts were fired.

“A man has lost his life, while two other people were injured.

“We need the community to support us and hep bring these responsible to justice.
