An afternoon of green-fingered discussion will be taking place in Penrith, hosted by former BBC presenter Eric Robson.

As part of the Cumbria Life Home and Garden Show, taking place between Friday March 13 and Sunday March 15 at Rheged just outside Penrith, former BBC Radio 4 Gardeners’ Question Time presenter Eric Robson will be hosting a gardening panel discussion on the Saturday.

The event will start at 2pm, and finish at 3.30pm.

He will be joined by a number of gardening experts, including Lowther Castle’s head gardener Martin Ogle and former Blue Peter gardener Chris Collins.

Tickets for the event are £3, and can be booked online with a Cumbria Life Home and Garden Show ticket.

Tickets for the whole weekend show at Rheged are available for £10, or for an individual day.

The event is in aid of Kendal-based charity Growing Well, which supports people with mental health issues by providing a supportive environment to help build skills and confidence through working with the natural world.
