The family of a teenager who has been missing for nearly a week has pleaded for her safe return.

Tia Huggins, 14, was last seen on Tuesday, January 21 at around 3.20pm after school at Priory Academy in Dunstable.

Bedfordshire Police believe the teenager has links to Enfield and says the case has been transferred over to Metropolitan Police.

Elder sister Naila Huggins said everything had been normal when Tia left for school on the day she went missing and has been seen with an unknown young man.

Naila said: “As a family we want her safe and returned. We have all been extremely heartbroken since she went missing.

“As the days go on we are just getting more and more worried and we can’t contact her. She is a vulnerable 14-year-old girl.”
