A group of people were involved in a fight outside a McDonald’s at the start of the new year.

Around 10 to 15 people are believed to have been fighting by the exit of the McDonald’s at Stonegrove, Edgware, on Wednesday (January 1) at 4.10am.

Police were called to reports of the fight after footage was captured and shared online.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service found a man, in his 30s, suffering a head injury.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, but it was found that the injuries are not serious.

A spokesperson to McDonald’s said: “We can confirm that an incident did take place last night outside the restaurant.

“The police were called, and on their advice, the restaurant was closed for a short time while they completed their investigations. We continue to assist them with their enquiries”

No arrests have yet been made and enquiries into the fight continue.
